The LED Lenser EX7R intrinsically safe torch is ATEX Zone 1/21 compliant and uses high quality LED to deliver 220 lumens of white light.

The industrial strength polycarbonate body features a removable pocket clip so that it can be easily carried on a shirt pocket or on a trouser pocket. The pocket clip is screwed into place and can be removed using a flat head screwdriver and in its place, you can attach a wider belt clip instead. The belt clip needs to be assembled first by connecting to the ring, which then slides over the body over the torch and locks into place.

The EX7R is powered by a lithium-ion cell that is sealed inside the body for safety purposes. The torch is charged up with the included charging cradle which attaches to the mains power and then the torch is placed into the cradle. The charging light on the torch will turn red to show charging is in progress and will turn green once charging is complete.

Never install the charging cradle inside an explosive atmosphere and never attempt to charge the battery while inside an explosive atmosphere.

The selector ring switch on the body has two off positions, low position, and high position so you can easily select the brightness level required. A full charge provides a run-time of up to 45 hours on low. Due to the energy saving features the output will gradually drop throughout use to preserve the battery life.

Like most LED Lenser torches, the EX7R has a focusing feature on the head of the torch that can be twisted to focus the light between spot and floodlight to suit your requirements.

The IP66 rating means that this torch is dustproof as well as water-resistant to a powerful water jet. Due to the use, this product is intended for it is advised that it is cleaned down regularly with a dry lint-free cloth to prevent dust buildup on the outer casing.
