The Xtar RC1 Darkwalker rechargeable torch updates the popular RC1 with an increase in output from 450 lumens to 800 lumens. Featuring a Cree XP-L V6 LED, the RC1 Darkwalker delivers a stunning, balanced beam capable of illuminating at a maximum distance of 235 meters. The supplied lithium-ion 2600 mAh rechargeable battery is charged inside the torch. The micro USB port is located on the neck of the torch and can be revealed by twisting the protective cover down. Turn the torch on at the tail switch and then plug the supplied USB cable into the micro USB port. Plug the other end into the USB port on your computer, or using a mains USB adaptor or a car charging adaptor (sold separately) you can charge the RC1 via the mains or in the car. A red LED indicator will come on to indicate charging is in progress and will go green once charging is complete. It takes approximately 4 hours to fully charge the included 2600 mAh battery but will take longer to charger a higher capacity battery. The intelligent charging circuit has all the safety features that are inbuilt into an Xtar charger, such as the three-stage TT/CC/CV charging system and has a 1 A charging current, so charging your battery is safe and fast. It also has 0 V battery activation and will try to revive over depleted batteries (which will extend the charging time). A single tail cap button that operates the four brightness settings. Half presses cycle through the moonlight, low, high, turbo and are selected by fully pressing in the button.
