The Nitecore HA23-Ex is an Intrinsically Safe Explosion-Proof Ultra Lightweight AA Headlamp with explosive gas protection and applicable in Zone 0/1/2. Powered by the included 2 x AA batteries, the most common and accessible power source, it has a max runtime of 4 hours on the HIGH Level (100 Lumens) and 130 hours on the LOW Level (2 Lumens).

Utilizing a CREE XP-G LED, the HA23-Ex is capable of a max output of 100 lumens and a max peak beam intensity of 350cd with a bead-surface total reflective optic lens, specially designed for petrochemical, chemical industries, and downhole operations. The wide range flood optic system of 150° illumination angle perfectly covers the field of view of human eyes in the outdoor environment, with a beam distance up to 37 meters. It also has a bracket available with a 70° adjustable tilt angle and the included headband.

The one-hand operable user interface of a single switch controls 3 brightness levels.
