Do you want to sharpen your Kai Shun knife? If so this Kai sharpening stone is a great choice. The Kai WS-800 is enhanced with an 800 grain and is therefore perfect when restoring the edge of your blunt knives. When restoring the edge you restore the correct sharpening angle and start adding some sharpness to the blade as well.

The included stone holder ensures that the stone stays in place as you use it. Because of the height of the stone and the holder the WS-800 stone is placed on, you have enough room to properly hold your knife without touching the base with your hands.

As you sharpen your knife you can use the top and bottom of the stone. After using the Kai WS-800 sharpening stone we recommend continuing the sharpening process with a finer grain. You could, for instance, use the Kai WS-3000 sharpening stone.
