Fujinon 7x50 WPC-XL Mariner Binocular is their entry-level boating binocular equipped with a compass. It has multi-coated lenses, a tough polycarbonate exterior, and a weight that is remarkably low for a 7x50 water and fogproof optic. In fact, this rubber-armored unit will actually float in water when the included strap is attached. The compass' LED illumination and activation button are on the left objective, away from the compass itself, so that electrical interference is avoided.

The compass and reticle display are visible through the eyepiece. A translucent panel above the compass provides a bright view of the heading under daylight conditions. For use after dark, a nightlight is built into the compass. The control pushbutton and battery for the light is atop the right tube. This exclusive new Fujinon design makes it easier to use and also reduces the chance of electrical interference affecting compass performance.
